What was the most difficult question?

What impressed you positively?
Applicants were positively impressed by the rigorous and detailed interview process at AUC, despite initial skepticism about it being a for-profit school. Additionally, the friendliness of the staff and the beautiful, beachside campus were highlighted as standout features that left a positive impression.

I had heard a lot of negative info about AUC being a for-profit school so I didn't expect a serious interview. I was surprised in that the interview was rigorous, in depth, and quiet detailed.

The campus. It is ten years old and absolutely beautiful. It is a 3 minute walk to the beach.
What impressed you negatively?
Applicants commonly expressed negativity about unprofessional behavior from staff, lack of promptness in communication or service, and insufficient on-campus study spaces. Suggestions included improving professionalism, enhancing communication efficiency, and increasing study areas.

I interviewed at the Devry facility in Sherman Oaks. The admin assistant was a bit unprofessional in her demeanor and was not prompt with notifying my interviewer that I had arrived. Interview was at 12 and the interviewer wasn't notified till 11:58.

There are not that many places to study on campus.
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
Applicants commonly wished they had known to allow extra time for parking, especially in specific locations like Sherman Oaks, and to validate parking to save costs. Additionally, many expressed a desire for more preparation or experience with phone interviews, highlighting the challenges of not being able to see body language and dealing with potential technical issues.

Nothing but make sure that you give yourself plenty of time to arrive and find parking if you interview in Sherman Oaks. Also, make sure to get your parking ticket validated; parking is $1.80 every 15 minutes!!!

I had a phone interview and didn't have experience with that before. Not being able to see body language is difficult and there were a few long pauses... one time I thought I lost the call, but fortunately I didn't!
