Except your family has some of the brightest students from around the world and every walk of life - which can be very humbling. World-class hospital faculty, access to some really unique patient populations (not so much zebras - more like unicorns). No grades, class-rankings, lectures, exams, or AOA. "The very small group-learning sessions (often 8 students, but sometimes as low as 4 or 6) means that each student must show up, be prepared, and participate / share the learning workload. Students who cannot or chose not to participate and those not truly interested in a research career can be disruptive to the learning environment. Small class size and high-achieving classmates tend to invite close scrutiny of your performance and can cause anxiety - although this is partially mitigated by the (true) lack of exams, grades, rankings, AOA." | Report Response
