  • KYCO is one of the newest optometry schools so it has up-to-date everything. The tuition is pricy, however they include a $15,000 package which covers all necessary items (scrubs, kit, board review, textbooks, iPad...). The faculty and staff were extremely welcoming and student would even mention how much they loved the school. The housing options seem limited, however the majority of landlords only rent to professional students so you will be given a housing sheet with availibility and landlord information. Definitely consider this school and attend an in-person interview to experience the environment.
  • Very relaxed and conversational interview. The interviewers were very nice. They don't make people nervous, but help you feel confident. They are attentive and considerate and make you feel like you are a very cherished candidate.
