Luckily, I had 10 minutes to spare. But, I got lost trying to find the building, a very nice student, walked me over and talked to me about the surrounding area! Insider information is always great! =)" More from this Member | Report Response

"The interviewers were really nice and laid-back. The campus seems really nice." More from this Member | Report Response

"everybody was very friendly and laid back" More from this Member | Report Response

"Very friendly faculty. Purdue has a neat campus and is in a fun area." More from this Member | Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"The entire interview process. It seemed very uncoordinated. There were no information packets to keep with you, no presentation about the school, did not meet the dean, no school tour. For such a respected school I thought they would brag about themselves." More from this Member | Report Response

"The school looked really really depressing, could barely see the green on the tree; all were die, burn, even grass. The weather was supper cold at that time, and wind a lot, compare to the West region). The school architecture was old (I'm surprised because Purdue have very strong engineering program, how come they can keep the building urly like that?)" More from this Member | Report Response

"school is old, and no campus tour" More from this Member | Report Response

"Buildings seemed older. The weather was nasty that day, but they can't control that... or can they?? j/k" More from this Member | Report Response

"things seemed a little disorganized... at least compared to other interview sessions I have been to. It was very random, and kind of "do this when you have time" instead of an agenda really. also the location isn't really ideal.. at least for me - I like to live in more urban areas. " More from this Member | Report Response

"The area, there is no diversity at all! It's a very small college town with not much to do. The town is surrounded by pretty much nothing! Everything is about a 100mile radius outside, Chicago and Indianapolis. During the interview day, they had Pre-Pharmacy students at the check in table, taking you from one place to another, in charge of the written and oral part. How do they put so much trust in a Pre-Pharm student? Actually, during my interview, the person in charge of the Oral Exam was a pre-pharm student that was also apply at the same time as I. =(" More from this Member | Report Response

"No tour of the school was given so I couldn't get a feel for how I would like it there. Also, the majority of people have to move out of the city to do rotations." More from this Member | Report Response

"Since I am accepted already, I am not sure what negatively impressed. May be depressing weather." More from this Member | Report Response

"The location of the campus, the oral and written exercises" More from this Member | Report Response

"the interviewers didn't have any specific questions, they just kind of looked through my application and asked me about various things" More from this Member | Report Response

"Cold" More from this Member | Report Response

"didn't know where to park" More from this Member | Report Response

"I had to pay to park." More from this Member | Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"That there would be no tour, I wouldve went around and explored if I had more time." More from this Member | Report Response

"The bus service was annoying. It took me 4 hours to get to the hotel just 6 miles away. Taxi service was terrible as I heard (wasn't my case though). You definitely should booked the hotel near the school if you are out - of -state" More from this Member | Report Response

"don't be nervous" More from this Member | Report Response

"That it was going to be raining... all day. I needed an umbrella." More from this Member | Report Response

"that the interview would be closed file! apparently it is something they just decided to try this year" More from this Member | Report Response

"Time difference. Also, because the class size at Purdue is so big and there are a lot of pre-pharmacy students, you bet you'll have to move out of the area to find rotations spots. There is no big, main hospital in the area, so you're very limited to what you can do as a student! =(" More from this Member | Report Response

"Bus schedule time to get to West lafeyette from Indianipolis. If u miss the bus, two hours wait." More from this Member | Report Response

"There is a written and oral exercise you have to complete after your interview, although they are pretty easy" More from this Member | Report Response

"how big the university really was" More from this Member | Report Response

"nothing" More from this Member | Report Response

"Don't eat at BigHead burrito." More from this Member | Report Response

What are your general comments?

"Overall, I expected better from Purdue. Ive done 5 interviews and this one was the least organized and most disappointing. I dont understand how a school so highly ranked doesnt even give a presentation OR show you the classroom youll be in your entire first year." More from this Member | Report Response

"The weather + country scene made me a little bit down, hopefully it would be better when spring comes" More from this Member | Report Response

"nothing" More from this Member | Report Response

"Overall, the interview was easy. The written quiz/essay was not hard at all. The oral communication part was easy as well. There were some misspellings in the section I had to read, but what can you do?" More from this Member | Report Response

"Overall, I had a good experience. The people are nice. The immediate area is good; the surrounding areas not so appealing. I didn't really learn much about the school and the program while there though, because the hosts were pre-pharmers! So, make sure to ask during the interview! To clarify what I wanted to know as an out-of-state applicant: During my interview, I asked the faculty about rumor of out-of-state students being accepted at a lower percentage than others. He claims that the percentage that they have is for the initial cut of...meaning that is the numbers game for interviewees. Once you get the interview invite, everyone is on the same playing field. I got in! In the end, that's all that matters! =)" More from this Member | Report Response

"My interview was the best experience I have ever had. After written part and oral part, I get off my restroom. I met the professor who interviewed me. He took me to his place where he do research." More from this Member | Report Response

"The interview was too short and I had more questions to ask, but I felt like they needed to move to the next candidate. However, they seemed engaged in what I had to say and they were definitely trying to sell the school." More from this Member | Report Response

"First I had a 30 minute interview with a professor and a student, then I went over to another biulding and completed my oral and written exercises. The whole process took about 1.5 hours. Everyone was very friendly and relaxed." More from this Member | Report Response

"i would go there if they accepted me!!" More from this Member | Report Response

"the interviewers were very laid back and basically asked me questions about my life and activities" More from this Member | Report Response

"Great. The interview was relaxed, the interviewers were friendly. " More from this Member | Report Response
