What are your general comments?

very positive; everyone there was very friendly; a bunch of students dropped by at lunch (during which they slyly take you out for the individ interview one by one); don't bother reading the other feedback - they all say the same thing - very friendly, low stress...
💬 Interview Process

What is one of the specific questions they asked you?

why did you switch careers into dentistry?

What was the most interesting question?

What I thought about ethics. (it was a question he said he added in after we were done with the other stuff)

How did you prepare for the interview?

reviewed my personal statment; looked at unique elements of their program; tried to come up with good questions to ask while I had their time

What was the most difficult question?

Nothing really, it was very conversational. We just went over stuff in my application. (but he qualified at the beginning that he wouldn't be asking me anything about my grades or things like that) we mostly talked about work & volunteer experience; why I want to be a dentist; standard stuff

What impressed you positively?

wonderful facilities, students seemed happy there; tour guide Adam was very friendly & enthusiastic; Dean Mark Gonthier really reflected a very thorough focus on the students' experience there

What impressed you negatively?

nothing really; other than maybe being in downtown in the middle of a bunch of highrises; depends on whether you're a city/urban type

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

that we'd have to introduce ourselves to the group (it was my very very first interview) you sit a big round table in a board room, after some welcoming remarks, they have you introduce you, where you're from and something unique about you.
