What are your general comments?
Very relaxed and not formal. We met and discussed things in a cafe. She was very friendly and warm... Even with her support, it is ultimately up to the comittee (wish me luck).

What will you be doing in 15yrs? Why MD and not public health, nurse, etc.
What was the most interesting question?
If I were President Bush for a day, what law would I pass?
How did you prepare for the interview?
Studentdoctor.com, Duke website, review my application, practiced answering questions (yes, to myself).
What was the most difficult question?
If you have an unconscious patient who has refused blood but needs it now to survive, what would you do? What if it was a friend?
What impressed you positively?
Everything. Duke has a great curriculum, supportive staff and student body, and great research opportunities.
What impressed you negatively?
Well it is in the South..I've lived in CA all my life, how can you compare?
What did you wish you had known ahead of time?
Did not have complete access to my file. Only AMCAS and some of my secondary answers. Did not know MCAT scores.
