What impressed you positively?

"The faculty and third year tour guide were all very enthusiastic and easy-going. I was pretty stressed when I first showed up for my interview but once I met the faculty, they were all very helpful and kind." Report Response

What impressed you negatively?

"The facilities aren't as up-to-date as other Optometry schools. However, they are planning on building a new facility in the next 4-5 years." Report Response

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

"The names of the interviewers so I would be familiar with their work. Which, for me were Dr. Edward Bennett and Dr. Alex Harris. Dr. Bennett is well-known for gas permeable contact lenses and has written nationally renowned books." Report Response

What are your general comments?

"Overall I had a very positive experience. They were very helpful and made you feel at home. They made it clear that they were interviewing me for a reason and thought I would be an asset to their institution. The thing I found most interesting was that they had a powerpoint presentation prior to the interview that outlined what questions would be asked in the interview so you knew what to expect."
