ok first thing..Breathe...when i was doing my surg rotation i had a hardass registrar that pushed me more than any other med student he'd had....it may seem hard but in the long run, that person has made you a better doctor pushing you to breaking point you learn the most valuable...
if you go into medicine so people believe you are a god...don't bother! you work your ass off get spat on, bitten,abused and spewed on as an intern only to turn around and cop the same for pretty much most of your career....if you don't have empathy, can't eat humble pie, aren't thick skinned to...
when i was really crook i got a call every day from the neuro dept, pain management and ED! because i was living by myself they wanted to make sure i was ok...now i do these calls not only to give crappy news but just to see how a patient is doing....i make them quick so the d/c patient can't...
what about a cadaver??? then it gives a real veiw on what a intubation will be like....doesn't matter if they screw up because well the person is dead already....how realistic are the training heads? i just used a cadaver....
i took a dictating machine to all my lectures/workshops/intensives and tutes......i was up at 4.30am every morning (grew up on a farm) and most of my classes started at 9am but i never got home before 7.30pm....so i would turn up to classes that had a sign in sheet and the ones in the afternoon...

lol, poor snake....80% of bites are dry bites anyway.... i would be more worried about someone washing the bite than killing a snake, bringing it in and having a doctor identify the snake wrongly....i'm the resident snake go to person...i know all species
