Gotcha ok! I kinda wish they were all in the match, there are some that have the deadline after match that I would prefer to do over some of the ones in the match, but I'm planning to apply to the ones in the match anyway to maximize my chances of just ending up somewhere lol

Unfortunately yes it is. They assign a certain number (3? I think?) per county in IL.

For any IS students who have a parent/guardian that is a veteran, UIUC does offer a Child of Veterans Tuition Waiver which is applicable to vet students. Just wanted to put that out there because I don't think a lot of people know about it.

Not sure if this has been asked already but how exactly did some of you current vet students go about getting vaccinated for rabies? Does insurance usually pay for it? And do we need them for day 1 of classes or just by the first set of clinical rotations?
