    STEP 3 Score VS USMLE WORLD AVERAGE

    hi guys, i'm doing UW q's, 48q each block timed just like the real thing.. and only averaging 56-60%!! my Step3 is coming up soon, should i be really worried... :scared:

    "Malignant" derm programs?

    we all know derm is great, but are there certain programs out there known to be "malignant"? i have heard that Yale & UTSW used to be malignant in the years past, but haven't heard anything recently.

    i've been told that UW (2 parts) and kaplan step3 review book by conrad fischer would be sufficient. but then again i'm looking for a "P", not 260+.. :laugh: and yes the 9/3 deadline is if you want to take it before 01/2011

    i have a long stretch of electives & vacay coming up starting from late sept til feb.. i could totally slack off during that time but then again i think i'll actually do some studying and get StepIII out of the way :laugh: just gotta remember to register before 9/3. woot

    Nightfloat vs q4 overnight call??

    My intern yr program allows us to choose NF vs. q4 o/n call during 2 ICU months.. they say at the end the # of overnight calls are the same, but which is usually less taxing on the body? is NF easier?

    if applicants' ROLs are due on 2/24, when do programs submit theirs? i'm asking b/c i wonder when would be too late to contact/show interest in my #1 program. thanks
