I don't think these numbers are correct. They were wrong on at least 3 different programs.

Just to add to the optimism here, I've had 2 interview invites from programs where I missed the initial wave. Both came within 2 weeks of the first posting of invites on this board. So, it appears that it does happen but the vast majority have meant an ultimate rejection for me. As a side...

Pass all of your courses and honor your peds rotation. Voila, you are competitive at the top peds programs. (Assuming you can get around the natl average on Step 1... or at least not fail).
