Hi all, The past group I worked for is no longer in existence. A new site is asking for the past 10 years of Malpractice Certification of Insurance. I have no idea where my old group get the malpractice from. Anyone has deal with similar situation before and how to resolve it? Thanks all!

Hi Should I purchase my own occurrence policy when doing locums or use the claims made policy provided by the agency? How about tail coverage? Do I buy the tail whenever I finish an assignment? That seems odd thogh. I have never done locum before and I want to try it. Thank you all!

My experience is only the days you supposed to work count. So if you are M-F guy, then 30 days PTO means 6 weeks

Supposed your contract said do 10 shift in a month for X amount of the money and also 6 weeks of PTO. So if you do 10 shifts in a month for a year, total of 120 shifts for the whole year for that X amount. You don’t really get the PTO right, do you? Because you don’t really get the paid time...

I used to regularly do 1:4 supervision for a physician own group. But now is more like doing my case now since the group was bought by a AMC which resulted in lose of CRNAs.
