    Signout Digital cases from home

They want you to spend $6 to $12K on a monitor but you may or may not need corrective lenses which you have been putting off for years.:rofl:

    Signout Digital cases from home

This is great for the validation recommendations. Does anyone have any insight into which home monitors can be used? Is this a recommendation? Requirement? Enforced?

    Signout Digital cases from home

My path group is going to slowly start signing out digital cases from home. From what I understand we have two options for monitors to be in compliance. 1) Barco monitor: Can use to sign out but costs a lot. 2) There is a list of FDA approved monitors but must do a 60 slides validation first...

    NRMP but not ERAS

I stand corrected. This is what I read from the AAMC site: Which would not apply since you have not enrolled in ERAS. Sorry for the mis-information.

    Unfilled Spots List

Can someone either post the unfilled positions for this year or refer me to where I can find them. They are not letting me view the list having matched. Thanks

    NRMP but not ERAS

According to the NRMP site you must have registered for ERAS and applied to and paid for at least one program.

    From Residency to Consultant Firm

Thank you for you insight. I had a feeling that pedigree becomes important in the big consulting firms. I will however, take your advice and get in touch with HR or in house recruiter at the firm I am interested in starting at. That is of course after I complete my residency and get BC.

    McKinsey vs Residency

Thanks Quinn. It is so difficult to find information on the transition. From the way I interpret your post, you recommend applying before doing any further strengthening of my application (short of completing my residency and getting BC). This way, they can let me know what was missing in my...

    Ocular Melanoma

Dr. Doan....thank you for your academic opinion on the topic of Ocular Melanoma as well as your kind words with regard to my wife's uncle. Considering your post, I think it would be very important to have my uncle ask his Ophthalmologist about the pathology result which is not ready and the...

    From Residency to Consultant Firm

I am strongly considering the transition. I have been gathering information about the MD to business/finance transition for quite sometime and the more I learn about the different non-clinical business routes the more I realize how appropriate of a fit it would be for me. I have a few...

    Ocular Melanoma

That is a great point. His optometrist was an ond freind and I guess he is the one to thank for his suspicion and for acting quickly. I am sure that there are many optometrists in that situation would have simply fitted the patient for contacts or glasses. As an update, his liver biopsy was...

    Temple PM&R

    Thanks

    Money in PMR?

Thanks for the input. I don't know how they get away with paying for the drug and not the service. Seems unfair. Is their anyway to charge a premim for the medicine. AKA, mark it up as a pharmacy does. Not quite sure what you mean about your first point but I am shocked to learn that...
