I majored in Fine Arts as an undergrad and I wouldn't trade my experience in for the world!!! I did a post-baccalaureate program to complete my pre-req sciences.
Oh...and let me tell you the AWESOME advantages that an education in art gives you that others won't get and how it relates to...
Hi Mike :hello:
Did you approach your Kaplan instructor and talk to him/her about your concerns? To get through a WHOLE 19 sessions and "hate" your experience passionately is a serious bummer. And while I don't know who your instructor was, I CAN tell you that a very very smaaaaallll number of...
Come on over to the Kaplan forum and see what others are doing to boost their scores. Specifically, see all the threads I've created, such as the one on "post-phrasing:"

Hi JReiss! :hello:
This decision of yours is a personal one, but I'm glad that you came to this forum to check out others' opinions.
Clearly, I'm not objective (as a Kaplan instructor), but I've got a TON of experience personally when it comes to study plans...which is your real issue here...
Hi Hafez :hello:
I'm super bummed that you seem to have had a disappointing experience prepping for your MCAT with Kaplan! As a classroom instructor and tutor, I know my fellow coworkers and I are super dedicated to helping all our students with any concerns throughout their prep...and had I...

Please PM me and share...

Medicare
Healthcare in America
Medical Ethics
When my interviews were over, I was soooo thankful I had this preparation!
Good luck!
When I walked out of the MCAT testing center back in...well...a few years ago, I really wasn't sure HOW I did! I thought...that could have been a 20 or it could be a 40! It was a really strange feeling.
Happily, my score was above the 90th percentile and it turns out that I really DID know...
Woah, Nellie! Glad I caught this thread!
Ya'll know I'm a Kaplan instructor, but I'm ALSO a Summer Intensive Program faculty member (San Diego 2010). Let me explain a little about our SIP program from someone who's actually lived it...
1) It's called INTENSIVE for a reason! Every day of the...
YAY for encouragement!
More ideas to lighten the mood:
To take a break from studying, go on a 5-minute jog down the street and back (if it's safe) to get your blood moving around! Maybe pluck a little flower from a nearby garden and put it in a cup of water by your desk. Let it keep you company...
