Couple of questions regarding anes residency: 1) which is more competitive: categorical program or advanced position? 2) how can I shine on anes rotation as a 4th year? Which book is good to read for the rotation - baby miller, nms anesthesiology, or cases files for anesthesiology?

Can anyone tell me about this program? I see there are lots of DO's, but what about the MD's that are resident? Are they foreign grads or american grads. Any info would be appreciated, theres not much on this tread about this program thats why i'm asking.
