Absolutely my man! Your in a perfect scenario. One other thing, practice where you are needed. NYC and La are not great choices for gp associates.

Being a Dentist is a gift, you can easily earn 250k, you just have to have a reasonable work ethic, you dont even have to go on to specialize to attain this.....as your skill set grows you can make closer to 500!

VA alumni here, they pay close to 60k per year, I placed over 300 implants free hand, not amazing in the tech spectrum, we did have a CBCT and Piezo, that was about it. You must be a citizen to attend a VA program....other great programs with stipends: Alabama, Iowa, Eastman Rochester, MUSC...

This is actually very true. I just about died with the 30-60 bull**** articles they had us read, felt like time wasted at some Points, I would of much rather been spending that time treating patients.

No specialty care from my understanding. Extractions, cavities, dentures. Yup, deff monotonous. But can be a good career. Never underestimate a pension the rest of your life. Also her salary was based on a 3 day schedule, you could always get your fix the other 2 days. GL
