Finding out what time classes start could be important for you to know. I lived very close to campus because i hated to commute and i was by far the happiest person the year we had to take an 8am class.
Also, i do think all the practice tests try to introduce you to as many different questions as possible so you can learn the answer in the event it happens to be on the real exam. If they kept testing us on the same 200 things, we wouldn't really be improving (or at least this is what i tell myself)
O Gurl, glad to hear your score on the retired questions was so high. I will take one this weekend and pray its better! I just finished my 7th academic review test with a 69! With 18 days to go i am feeling nervous!
Thanks for posting your success story. I am using academic review and also am scoring in the 60s and 70s and am a little nervous as I will take the test in three weeks. Congratulations on your HUGE accomplishment
Hello all. I am scheduled to take the EPPP in three weeks. I am scoring in the high 60s to mid 70s on all my practice tests (I have recently been taking two a week). What were other people scoring before they passed the real exam? Also, the practice tests I am using are academic review.
yeah, developing a center. no, joint appointment options.
is this low salary? the postdoc positions in the city pay 19,000 to 36,000 in counseling centers. research is a different bag of worms
So i was offered two full time jobs for after graduation, one entry level position at a very good, well known school and one more advanced position at a relatively unknown school. any opinions on if the reputation of the school is important for future career opportunities?
That is true. I am familiar with the head clinician at an APA accredited CC internship site and they don't consider people without college counseling experience.
Thanks for your comments. I have been working in the college counseling area as a grad student for 4 years. There is definitely a good amount of psychopathology, that is true.
I am also surprised at how little comparatively psychologists at college counseling centers make. I guess not...
