Hi all, I have a quick question regarding the licensure section on eras.
Background, Im a resident has previously resigned from my position to pursue a different specialty and reapplying to ERAS.
It asks "Has your medical license ever been suspended/revoked/voluntarily terminated? *"
if so...
I like drawboard even though it isn't free. I think its 9.99 or something.
Edit: saw for mac, not sure if its made for mac cause i use pc but id check it out.
They are pretty lax about all that, i'd get it done before orientation otherwise they are going to be hounding for you to get it done, especially because you see some patients during your first year.
Yes, you need to take a 10 panel drug test also. Upload all that jazz and you should be good to go.
UIC M1 here, if anyones got any questions. feel free to post em and ill get back asap. Bored studying for the last physio exam of the semester.:clap:
Work enough to buy me a surface pro 4 for medical school... along with building one more powerful desktop. :)
Can't wait to see the fruits of my labor.
Frank Netter had a pretty nice rejection email.
something along the lines of understanding the disappointing news and hoping that I will be admitted to other schools which I have applied. (Which I did!) :)
Rush's rejection was a bit more generic. medical school is competitive blah blah.
Took it twice and improved 5 points the second time, 7 interviews, 3 acceptances and counting, waiting to hear back from 2 schools. (All MD)
As long as you improve on the subsequent exam, I don't see a huge problem. :);)
After interviewing here, I have to say I absolutely LOVED Rush Hospital and Cook county and would love to do my rotations there. Can any current students chime in on these experiences and if they are worth the extra cost over UIC? If I do get accepted here, it will most likely be here or UIC...
Will be withdrawing my II most likely tomorrow for 12/4. Having several acceptances already makes me more than grateful. Good luck everyone! :):joyful::clap::banana:
