Some of these Naplex pass rates are awful

It's bad, one of the interns at my hospital finally passed on his 5th try. But now he's having trouble with MPJE. I kinda want to try a sample exam to see how bad it really is now. I was a 2.3 GPA student in pharmacy school and I still got a high score on the NAPLEX, it was the NYS Part 3...

    What is your 2024 predictions?

I would be demanding no action if the Houthis took out a warship. We escalated this, not the Houthis. They would not be attacking global shipping lanes in the Red Sea if Israel had backed off. Global shipping and "freedom of the seas" isn't US responsibility.

Mom-and-Pop Drugstores Thrive as Chain Pharmacies Close in New York

The NY Medicaid Fee for Service has been a nice boost in reimbursement now that we are getting $10 dispensing fee per script even if it is for a measly aspirin.

    Who's still around?

Is there a point where it makes more sense to put the student loans on a normal payment plan instead of REPAYE/SAVE under PSLF? Say your income rises to $400k/year?

Is this real? 300k income as a pharmacist?

No that's not what happened with me. At my current hospital, the pay scale is from $68-78/hr depending on experience level before differentials. I was getting $75/hour and then I got a 7% raise so that put me at $80.25 before the 10% differential ($88/hr with differential). The hospital I...

You underestimate the value of not doing anything for a week.

Look up her older posts, she has some questionable views about vaccines.

It's always annoying when the PCP wants us to do the vaccination but the insurance refuses to pay us to do it. Instead they tell us to dispense it send the patient to the PCP. Much easier for me to do it at my indy.

    Unfair Preceptors

Man, I remember at one of my rotations, the student that was there with me was really flirty with this technician. They're married now. But I wonder, if he had any feedback about rotation students. I know at my current worksite, the preceptors do ask the technicians input about how the students are.

They should at least be able to reach out to the hospital parking authority to get the student free parking since it is offered to patients.
