I heard that CPT in 2024 no longer requires time ranges for E/M codes and are now just minimal time. Doesn't seem to be a big practical change. Any changes for therapy add on codes that anyone is aware of?

This is my point. Everyone in here keeps saying "people are selling their souls for money", but the advertised salary is the same as most psych jobs. What's the appeal?

Is it easy money? I would imagine these are complicated, demanding patients. Amen is the one making the money, how much he's sharing. I don't know.

I'm just curious what the appeal is? Do they actually pay more? If not, what's the draw? Good hours? I know of someone that recently went to work there, but I don't speak with them.. He's a smart guy (the person going to work there, or at least I think), so I just don't know what the appeal is.

I've had colleagues in their practice do med consent forms where patients sign forms for every medication they start stating that they've understood the risks and benefits and what not. These seems cumbersome. Any benefit to this?
