    MGMA 2023

I work at a hospital employed position. We do get paid for call ~ $45K a year. The call is very light.

    MGMA 2023

I live 40 miles away from major city in the south. I get $59/RVU with target 9000 RVUs/year. I did 11,000 RVUs last year. I feel I'm under paid and over worked with no good support from staff, office, schedulers but I'm accepting due to the location, kids, hate to move...etc. No place is perfect...

    Job issue

I'm comfortable with my cannulation and this is not the problem. When I joined the practice the model was I do the bulk of ERCPs and others focus on general GI. I did advanced because I wanted to do mostly advanced and not do an EGD with biopsy when next door there is an ERCP happening. This was...

    Job issue

Thanks for the input. I clearly feel I'm not doing enough and I should be doing more. When I was hired for the position, the plan was that I do most if not all of ERCPs in the hospital which is around 400 cases a year. Once I started, I figured this was not the case and whoever is covering the...

    Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship Application 2020

If you go through each program on the ASGE website, some programs list the number of positions and how many are open. Not sure if this is accurate and if these programs signed people out of the match. I know Wash U did not fill as my co-fellow who applied and did not match interviewed with them...

    Shoes for endoscopy?

This is the best for me. Very comfortable, water proof and east to clean. It looks weird but I don't care :)

    Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship Application 2020

The application was submitted before the pandemic hit the US so we didn't know interviews will be online at that time. I applied nationwide as I don't have an impressive CV for AE and wanted to increase my chances to match (not sure if this is true).

    Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship Application 2020

I gave up getting more interviews. I don't have a stellar CV but I was hoping to get few more since I applied nationwide. A friend of mine has excellent CV and didn't get much interviews neither.

I'm not sure if it's early or not but seems many programs already sent their interviews. Hoping to get more next week.
