OMG, a whole 3 months.....You are very limited in shaving time in federal pen. She won't be getting any good behavior reductions like in state prison. I've had friends commit murder, plea it down to manslaughter and be out in less than 10 years in my neck of the woods.

Sure but Iā€™m coming at this from the mindset that she didnā€™t get nearly enough time

Definitely wasn't planned. It just sort of happened in the heat of an argument and then he panicked and made the situation even worse. They threw all kinds of charges at him-murder, abuse of corpse, neglect of dependent and some I dont remember off the top of my head. Ended up getting a plea deal for 24 years but with good behavior, doing programs etc he was out in around 10 years. Less than what Lizzy will be doing.

Heck, many people in this forum didn't think she would even do time. For her to be locked away for over a decade is a win. Sunny is sitting in his cell for even longer wishing he had never met this lady. Both of them should have pled and did 2 to 4 years. The odds of winning that case was very low.

Very true. Just wish theyā€™d been able to nail her for harm to patients not just screwing investors. But Iā€™ll take a decade.
