Which types of residencies allow for physicians to make the transition to aesthetics medicine, such as Med Spas and such?
I know plastic surgery definitely has the potential for such a transition, but I am not the most excited about a surgery residency. Dermatology is another potential residency option.
I've heard people say anesthesiology as a residency allows for a switch to aesthetics medicine - thoughts? Any other residencies?
