Application Tips with Apply Point: Writer's Block?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
After finishing your personal statement and staring down a number of secondary essay responses, you may face a formidable foe: writer's block. Whether you're frozen by self-doubt or a feeling that you have too much to say in your application essays, there are ways to snap out of it.

Here's one: write anything. If you can't bring yourself to parse through your brainstorm right now, start writing about a dream you had last night, what your plans are for the day, or your memory of finding your lost dog. Write anything to get your brain into a writing zone.
