Physical Therapy Can I apply to other schools after deferring acceptance?

So I was accepted at a PT school last year, and paid my deposit. Then due to Covid I deferred my enrollment for one academic year. Am I able to apply to other schools during this gap year and maintain my eligibility at the deferred school?

While nothing really stops you from doing this, you are engaging in bad faith and unprofessional behavior. There is a reason few schools give out deferrals and your actions show why. If they find out, your offer can be rescinded.

This is a bad idea. Aside from being a bad idea, you might want to look at the specifics to the deferral. Sometimes it is specified that you are not allowed to apply elsewhere.
