Current PGY1 IM resident, what are my options applying Neurology for an advanced PGY2 position?

Hey all current PGY1 IM position but thinking about applying for PGY2 Advanced Neuro positions. I am a DO grad 2021 with a 230/237 step 1/2, and have a Neuro LOR from my 3rd year of med school. I always liked neuro but didn't apply Neuro since I had to SOAP into IM because I didn't match into Psych (my original desired specialty) If I wanted to apply Neuro, what are my options? Could I still apply to PGY2 Advanced Neuro positions for the 2021-2022 match cycle or wait for the SOAP? Thanks.
