Hearts for Health is a student-led nonprofit with programs for mentorship, clinical and non-clinical volunteering. With our programs growing, our team will too, which is why we've opened an application for the below roles - all of which are completely remote. Attached is a flyer with a QR code to the application. 🚨 Here is some important info to keep in mind:
Check us out on:
- Social Media Strategists: Manage social media accounts and posting schedules with the creative freedom to introduce new strategies for social media growth; creates marketing content featured on our Instagram, YouTube & LinkedIn pages
- Session Coordinators: Responsible for coordination of Virtual Shadowing sessions such as quiz regulation and creation & email outreach to spread the word about Virtual Shadowing
- Project Developers: Build nationwide programs from scratch. Project Developers also manage our existing programs by securing new partnerships, evaluating applications and conducting interviews. So far, we've created 4 volunteering programs, including:
- Patient Discharge Initiative: made in partnership with Tampa General Hospital, where volunteers check in with patients during and after discharge
- Medical Miracle Mission (3M): offering companionship to patients (activities include conversing, arts and crafts, dog therapy & more!)
- Student-Refugee Mentor Initiative (SRMI): English literacy program for refugees, newcomers & non-native English speakers
- Code Blue Mentorship: offering mentorship to 4 categories of pre-health students: pre-med, pre-PA, pre-dental & pre-pharmacy
🚨 Here is some important info to keep in mind:
- Two rounds of deadlines: March 1st & March 15th, both at 11:59pm CT
- Only include if needed: Applicants who apply by the 1st round will have ⚠️ priority consideration ⚠️, although all positions will remain available to applicants in the 1st and 2nd rounds
- Successful interns will be considered for promotion to leadership
