Got pulled off the waitlist for Mizzou after I'd decided on LSU and currently deciding whether to switch! Would love any insight, especially regarding:
- Establishing residency for Mizzou IS tuition (does anyone know of OOS students who weren't able to establish residency? Are the number of slots for OOS to switch to IS limited? If I get residency, Mizzou would be about 60k cheaper; if for some reason I couldn't/didn't get residency, Mizzou would be about 60k more expensive)
- Focus on large vs small animal (I'm not as interested in programs that place a huge emphasis on large/farm animals/equine)
- Feline medicine opportunities (LSU has feline electives, Mizzou has the feline genetics lab - don't know how likely it would be for me to get into either)
- General satisfaction/dissatisfaction, pros/cons of the schools & the towns in general!
