I am a US-IMG who already applied for RadOnc on this go-around of the match (obviously results pending 3/03) with unfortunately limited research experience on my CV. I have decided to go ahead with my prelim. year starting in 7/03. Any advice on the best way to get involved into some good basic science and/or clinical research (sometimes it feels like a secret club to get into) as I find myself with some free time until the start of intern year. Any advice on websites, how to contact or approach the researchers or programs would be appreciated.. Furthermore, any input as to the most efficient way to increase my chances on the next go-around with the remaining 4 months I have until the start of intern year?
