Hey everyone quick question about my chances to get into a specific dental school. I have a 3.82 GPA, 24 AA, and about 75 shadowing hours various specialties. The school “recommends” 100 shadowing hours, but getting up to 100 would mean I probably have to apply mid-July. Anyone know if you absolutely need 100 hours to get in? Thanks.
I wouldn't wait to send in your application if you get to the 100 hour threshold before interviews begin in August. They only "recommend" 100 hours, so I'm fairly sure that people have been offered acceptance with less than 100.
