urm (under represented minority) - yes
& I didn’t consider BU because I don’t know much about it besides that it’s in Boston lol, I like Tufts class representation and have heard great things about it

how did you come up with this list?

how did you come up with this list?
I choose schools that’s are not too far from home (NC, except for tufts of course), whose missions I agree with, & that have diverse student representations.

you probably want to add a few more classes to be sure
how come you aren't submitting for a month or more?

Have you stayed in contact with the SNDA members at the Impressions Days? Are they giving you any advice about retaking the DAT? You're maybe a shade lower than I would prefer, but that doesn't mean some programs will summarily exclude you because of it.

You have hit the usual schools, though keep in mind DCG is very focused on their in-state pool. You may want to consider some privates like LECOM if you have Tufts/BU. URM's are desirable at most schools.

Have you connected with any local chapters of the ADA or NDA? Use connections from the SNDA members to find someone who is hiring for a good DA near you. You can do it, but you want someone who is supportive of you. The dentist you have interned with ought to be a good source for referrals.

Hi! Yes, I have stayed in contact with one of the students from UNC and gained them as a mentor, they advised me to only retake if I know I can do better and have the time but left it completely up to me and I'm still on the fence about it.

I know DCG is very in-state focused and I'm a little nervous about that but still willing to give it a try. Thanks for the school suggestions I will look into LECOM and some others.

No, I haven't, but thanks for the suggestion, very helpful!
