DO's not equal in West Virginia, other states
I am a physician and I am in WV and I have no idea what that is all about. I have not seen any differences whatsover here in terms of MD and DOs.....- Amy B

What DO schools arent accredited?
I went to VCOM before they were fully accredidated. I got federal loans with no problems. Once the first class graduated, they earn full accreditation. Each year they have visits by the boards and make sure they are staying up to snuff so to speak. VCOM passed each year with flying colors so...- Amy B

What's the residency climate like?
At our program we do not exceed the average 80 hour work week. And when we are post 24 hour call we can only stay 6 hours the following day for no more than 30 hours straight. It makes it a fantastic work environment!!- Amy B

I used Boards and wards, Crush step 2 and Prescription for the boards as well as OMT Review (the green book) and questions book as well as the question quest questions from Boardsbootcamp.com ....- Amy B

KCOM blackberry users
LOL.. I have it on rounds so when my attending asks me something I am able to check the internet whereever we are and dont have to go back to the nurses station.- Amy B

New Med School or D.O. School?
This is really a pre-med topic. Once you become a doctor and work side by side MDs that treat you the same as the other MDs you will realize there is no difference. That has been my experience- Amy B
