Got my score back weds. 250/99 Qbank: 79% when I finished it NBME 1: 640 (247) NBME 2: 700 (256) Also, I'm usually pretty laid-back and so SDN was helpful in keeping me neurotically motivated to stay on track and not take the challenge lightly. I think I used a combo of hard work (9-12...

    NBME CBSSA Form 2

I may be wrong but I belive the way nitrates reduce O2 demand is by decreasing preload. Venodilating the venous system prevents return of blood to heart and so it has less to deal with. Nitrates also vasodilate the coronaries which helps deliver more O2 to meet the demand.

    NBME question

I think its definately worth taking them I'm closer to my test date and I spent basically one whole day for each of them. But thats also because I took it it self-paced mode which allows 4 hours per block. So I would take the test and leave my answer the way it was (right or wrong) and look up...

    help on stats question: sens/spec/ppv

I think the best way to answer those ?'s is to make up numbers you can easily fiddle around with say you have a population of 1000, with a 10% prevalence or 100 with disease and thus 900 without disease. so now they are telling you the sensitivity is 90% or in other words, out of the 100...
