    I read that on MSNBC.COM...the thing that struck me was the comment about earning only $50,000 dollars a year in the early training period, with an average of $100,000 in debt. I thought the max in residency was about $40,000, and usually in your 4th or 5th year?

    I can tell you Dr. Laura would say you are awful and it shouldn't be done, because there was a somewhat similar call like this the other day on her show...but for the love of God, PLEASE don't let your friend call that woman for advice!

    I'm just wondering if anyone else still in college is majoring in economics? I think its fascinating, so that was why I chose it, but I couldn't remember seeing anyone else saying that was their major. Just curious.
