I was wondering how you found out about this open spot at Dartmouth. I'm potentially interested in transferring out of my program due to conflicts. Do you have any more info about the open spot and/or the program? Thanks...Joe

Same thing happened last year. It wound up being more difficult to match in gas than rads. I don't think this year will be much different.

For all those interns out there accepted to anes programs for 2007, are you all counting down the months until you can do anesthesia full time? Two months of internship down, 10 more to go. I guess I'm pretty fortunate that I'm in a categorical anesthesia program and that 3 of the 12 months...

UT San Antonio - my 7th choice. I'm not happy about this, but I guess I'll deal. I'm still going to be an anesthesiologist.

It's FUNNY. Lighten up. It doesn't have to be realistic, and I don't scrutinize the details about how they act compared to physicians in the real world. So relax, watch it, and accept it for what it is: Pure entertainment.

Hey Mil, What is it about bisoprolol that you prefer over other beta-blocking agents? Surely the end effect is similar regardless of the drug. Is there a specific effect that you noticed? Peace

Somehow it says I have 30 ranks, even though there are a far fewer number of programs that I'm ranking. It has to do with that each subrank I create (A, B, C, etc) counts as a different list even though I only have 4 prelims/TY

Got the "thanks but no thanks" from University of Colorado. One of the ones I really wanted to go to. I just don't get the selection criteria. Got invites from Mayo, Stanford, etc...why not CO? The logic defies me.
