See my above post. As for the people who get defferred into the regular pool, they tend to be the people who applied to USC as a stretch hoping to prove that they really wanted to go to USC (~3.2 GPA, 30 MCAT). But every person who got an interview EDP the past 2 years has gotten in. PS...

Don't worry about the timing of your interview. You still have an equal chance to get accepted, but of course the earlier people generally have a better application. As for hearing something post interview, I wouldn't hold your breath unless you interviewed this past 2 weeks.
