Radiology has 1 week on 2 weeks off gigs. Can probably pull it off doing locums anesthesia as well. Can probably craft that schedule in psych as well. Could also do tele psych while traveling. If you do private practice psych, you can create whatever schedule you want.

Right. They give a huge range, including a potential for a surplus of psychiatrists. "By 2050, the workforce of psychiatrists will range from a shortage of 17,705 psychiatrists to a surplus of 3,428."

Most patients cannot tell the difference between an NP or MD/DO. In fact, most patients refer to their NP as their "psychiatrist." Also, patients love to get benzos/stimulants from their NP. The same medications that their MD/DO may have denied.
