I heard a lot of pple indicated the 4th footnote on teh final amcas application, as well as sent the email from amcas to them saying that kind of information is confidential.... virtually everyone I know replied back and told them the same thing...

no 6 hours does not MEAN 6 units in a quarter system!!! I should know the conversion is different....6 units = 6 hours for SEMESTER SYSTEM ONLY (1 year of english) if you go to any of UC's 6 hours means 1 year of BIOLOGY therefore 3 QUARTERS of biology or english!! if you do the AMCAS...

hi I had the same problem!! Of course, mine only took 3 months to get processed...aint that nice :D I faxed on average 11 times, and on the last one I just begged the person to take care of it....(of course she thought I was a fruitcake)....anyway each time they said, we will get ur number...

also my other personal advice is..if ur profs. aren't cooperating then that is a bad sign in two ways... 1) They probably won't write one anyway, even if u keep on bugging them... 2) chances are it is not going to be a top notch letter...since ur forcing them into writing one.....most likely...

my personal rule...is always to ask in advance.... I told my professors I need it by january 31st the latest :D needless to say, they all turned it on May.... ;) of course, the rest of my letters I asked them to write it for me 2 years in advance...that way, I would have some in my folder...
