I think we mentioned before, you should still keep DO on your list being a reinventing applicant. That said, I think you are okay with your activities.

I'm unsure about Tulane, Colorado and Cincinnati when it comes to geographic fit. Brown has a reputation that it prefers other Ivy+ applications, so check with students attending there.

I have told many faculty that a personal statement is a product of the assistance an applicant gets. You should have as many people read your essays as possible, even as volunteers. If you know you need help with writers block, coaching helps. It's like athletics or a music master class... when...

Geez... at least you don't have to find your own patients. Research doesn't drop into your lap like buying a turn-key house or a car. There should be an office for student research to help connect you with possible PIs. You won't be totally lost.
