    UC Davis interview

    I've just been offered an interview at UC Davis in early May. Does anyone know if it is worth attending? Are they just filling up their waitlist? Taking more time off from work is very difficult for me, and so I'm wondering what my chances are. Thanks.

    Study time before MCAT

    It definitely depends on what courses you've already taken, how long ago you took them... I studied intensely for two months before the April exam (about 4 hours a weekday, and fully length exams every other Saturday/Sunday). You'll have to determine how much you need to review/re-learn/recall...

    Being called off the waitlist

    I'm now on several waitlists and from what I've been hearing, the waitlist will be active well into August. I'm going to be out of the country from May until August. What's the best way to ensure that I won't miss out on any notices?

    someone on the interview feedback site said that the USC has a semi-rolling process. they take those who they really want, and the rest wait until early may, because they want to give all interviewers a fair chance.

    I have two friends who both got 8s on verbal. One is going to Tufts, the other to some school in Arizona.

    Remember, the class size might be 150, but they send out almost twice that number of acceptances in order to fill their class. Given that they interview about 500 applicants, the odds of getting in are about 50% after the interview. Not bad, eh? I interviewed in February...I hope to hear from...
