Does anyone have any input about this program? I know Rochester, MN isn't the most exciting place to live, but what about the program itself? Are the residents very competative with eachother? Are the faculty malignant? How would you think an average medical student (not one with AOA...

Got MGH and B&W over the last 2 days-very elated about that! Georgetown sent out a rejection today. What a joke!

Please post the programs that pimped you in the interview. I'd be curious to know and I'm sure others would be as well. If you had interviews last year please also tell us which programs interviews were malignant. Thanks.

I interviewed at Temple last year. I just want to comment on the interview. Watch out for the "stress interview." I was very suprised when they pimped me on my medical knowledge. I don't know if others had similar experiences, but the pimp session was the last thing I expected, especially...

Post Dean's Letter my wife is 0 for 4 so far. We decided to just say screw it and focus on the programs she already has interviews at. We figure that if we haven't heard from them by now it's as good as a rejection. Agree? I must say though that we are both shocked that things turned out...

How important are clinical grades in the whole scheme of things? If you get Highly Satisfactory as opposed to Honors will it make a huge difference? Any comments on your thoughts about clinical grades would be appreciated.

My opinion... Obviously US med schools are ideal. I wouldn't wait around forever though unless time doesn't factor into the equation for you. How many years do you want to waste trying to get into a US med school? Bigots run rampant in med school admissions committees. I know first hand...

Did you apply to any "saftey" schools? They invite early. Top notch programs usually wait until the Dean's letter is in.
