[Announcement] Research Associates Programs

The National Alliance of Research Associates Programs (NARAP /www.theNARAP.org) is a national consortium of Affiliate hospitals utilizing the RA model to enroll unprecedented numbers of participants for clinical studies in emergency medicine.

We are recruiting for:

• Line RAs (summer and fall semesters 2024 and spring semester, 2025): undergraduates and post-bacs still completing course work who volunteer a minimum of one, 4-hour shift per week working directly with patients and their visitors in emergency departments as data collectors for clinical studies
• Chief RAs (June 2024 - July 2025): college graduates with course work for application to health professional school already completed who volunteer as middle-managers for Research Associates Programs

There are limited opportunities available. E.g., RA Program at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT has thirty (30) slots for Line RAs in the summer semester and two (2) Chief RA positions for this coming year. Application review and acceptances are on a rolling basis.
