About the School

The California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), established in 2015, is a private medical school located in Colton, California. It offers a Doctor of Medicine (MD) program and a Master of Biomedical Sciences (MBS) program. CUSM received preliminary accreditation from the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) in February 2018, allowing it to recruit and teach medical students. In July 2023, the university achieved institutional accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC).

Curriculum

CUSM's MD program curriculum is designed to inspire, motivate, and empower students to become excellent and caring physicians, scientists, and leaders. The program emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, integrity, and professionalism in an inclusive environment.
