About the School

The Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University, established in 2011, is among the newest medical schools in the United States. Located in Boca Raton, Florida, the college offers Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), and Master’s degrees in biomedical science. It maintains partnerships with over 300 community agencies from Miami-Dade to Vero Beach, emphasizing teamwork and collaboration to address community healthcare needs. Curriculum

The M.D. curriculum integrates early community-based clinical experiences with basic science courses, emphasizing small-group and self-directed learning.
