In 1997, the School of Pharmacy was merged with the Division of Nursing and the Division of Allied Health Sciences to form the College of Pharmacy, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (CPNAHS) and Dr. Pedro J. Lecca was appointed Dean of the School of Pharmacy and Dean of the CPNAHS in 1998. Presently, Dr. Curry is the head administrator at the School, while Dr. Beatrice Kelly is the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Nursing and Allied Health Sciences.
The School of Pharmacy offers the Pharm.D program to be completed in four years after a minimum of two years of Pre-Pharmacy studies. Most of the admitted students have already graduated with a Bachelor's. Some students have Master's degrees, other Doctorate degrees, and many students have years of working experiences.
Teaching facilities are located in the 4th Street School of Pharmacy Building. As well, many classes are taught in the Medical School Building. Lastly, the new constructed Louis Stokes Health Sciences Library houses useful research tools, and some classes are hosted there as well.

Although we could tier rank, over the past 25 years we've found no compelling benefit for ranking schools. Students are most successful when they prioritize personal and academic fit over school rank.
