As a student in the University of Ottawa`s Faculty of Medicine, you will follow a challenging path to the art and science of medicine. Lectures and seminars introduce basic concepts and overviews of the biomedical scientific knowledge that underlies modern medicine. At the same time, you will work in small groups on problem solving exercises as a way of developing many of the personal qualities that distinguish the best doctors, such as trust and compassion, communication skills, ethical professional conduct and patient advocacy.
