✅ Interview Preparation and Impressions

How is the friendliness of the admissions office?

8 out of 10

How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

8 out of 10

How did you prepare for the interview?

Read over and prepare for the interview questions they provide prior to interview day-- they only ask questions specifically off that list

What impressed you positively?

For a new school, I was very impressed by their go-get-it attitude and willingness to tackle new problems. Faculty/staff seem very personally motivated to help students succeed, smaller class size was appealing

What impressed you negatively?

Current medical building is drab and very unexciting. This will change eventually when the new building is constructed

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

Relax more before the interviews. I still got nervous, but the interviewers were very nice and having the questions in advance really made things less stressful in the end. Seems like UNLV was trying their hardest to reduce anxiety for their interview day, which I appreciate

What are your general comments?

Overall, liked this school much more than I thought I would. It seems as if they are headed in a positive direction (just need that final accreditation!)

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?

Better organized tours, at times the students weren't sure where we were going or what to say. A little more structure would have been nice, as they came off slightly unprepared
