⭐ Overall Impressions

How did the interview impress you?

No change 😐

What was the stress level of the interview?

4 out of 10
0 = Low Stress, 10 = High Stress

How you think you did?

9 out of 10
0 = Bad, 10 = Great

What are your general comments?

The interview itself is not stressful...honestly, they have a sheet that they ask you questions directly from - nothing out of the ordinary. My interviewers were really nice and I had something strange in common with the one. Even though I got in here I just don't think it's a good fit for me and I didn't get a good vibe when I was there - it seemed like most people were not happy and went to LECOM as a last resort.
💬 Interview Process

What is one of the specific questions they asked you?

Explain your leadership experiences. How do you work in groups?

What was the most interesting question?

They were all pretty standard...maybe "how do you deal with stress?" - they were more surprised by my answer I think.

How did you prepare for the interview?

Read the LECOM site, this site, some stuff about osteopathy.

What was the most difficult question?

Again, all pretty standard. All the questions are on SDN - pretty much they have a checklist that you can see and they ask you them one by one.

What impressed you positively?

How the school pays for COMLEX prep for all students.

What impressed you negatively?

40% of students are married and they have a spouse support group! I was one of two undergrads in my interview group (and most LECOM students are in their upper 20s it seemed.) No research, cadavers are already dissected, and the school is so new that it does not have a reputation yet.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

Erie really isn't that bad.
