💬 Interview Questions

What is one of the specific questions they asked you?

Pretty standard except for inquiries about hobbies and other interests.
Strenths/weaknesses, why DO and medicine in general, difficult situation in my healthcare experience, early academic difficulties, why NSU, etc.

What was the most interesting question?

I honestly was impressed that they took the time to inquire about my musical endeavors and time studying abroad. Most schools would not take the time. Drs. Snyder and Rokusek were very pleasant to talk with.

What impressed you positively?

EVERYTHING. Seriously, this school is wonderful: 103 acre beautiful campus, new facilities, 24K grad students, ton of affiliated core facilities for rotation, really friendly students and staff, and sunny weather1

What impressed you negatively?

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

What are your general comments?

Arrived for interview at 8:30, brought to conference room where admissions counselo and pre-clinical and clinical academic advisors spoke with us at length. Had interviews 2-on-one in the admissions offices. Then went on a tour with a student (Stavros), which was very informative and to-the-point...the facilities really speak for themselves. Came back and had lunch, spoke with students from OMM fellowship program, financial aid, and vice dean. Overall, a very laid-back, friendly, worthwhile, low-stress, great experience. I would love to go to NSU!
