How is the responsiveness of the admissions office?

How did you prepare for the interview?

BUSDM website. SDN forums. Talked to a friend on the admissions committee of a different school.

What impressed you positively?

The APEX program, seems to be the most proactive program to help students transition from school dentistry to real world dentistry.

What impressed you negatively?

I wish I had not done a regional interview. After talking with him, I really would have liked to have been at the school.

What did you wish you had known ahead of time?

He said that at early interviews, the purpose is more the school trying to recruit students they want rather than the students trying to sell themselfes to the school.

What are your general comments?

He really different ask me a lot of questions. The main thing he asked me was if I had any questions, concerns, comments on what I learned from the website. At the end of the interview he asked a few questions about some of my life experiences, grades, DAT scores; all pretty general though. More of a recruiting effort.

What are your suggestions for the admissions office?
